Murray River Salt 'Salt Flakes' are produced using the pristine mineralised brines from the ancient saline aquifers of the Murray Darling Basin. Mineralised brine is pumped into shallow lake beds and the sun does its work over many months and leaves a layer of salt to be harvested, it is also additive and preservative free and are completely natural giving us an amazing product to work with.  It is also naturally pink.
